Connecting to the Network

This document outlines the steps for connecting your Slingshot Linux VM to a local network. Follow these steps to configure your class VM anytime you need internet access.

Connecting Slingshot Linux to the Network

Log in to Slingshot Linux and open a terminal. From the terminal, run the connect-net command, as shown here:

Next, test your internet connection using the ping command, as shown here:

You have successfully configured the Slingshot Linux VM to connect to the network. You do not need to perform any other steps for this VM.

To restore your Slingshot Linux VM to the lab network settings, you can run connect-lab.
